Ravensdale got its very own "Changing Rooms" makeover recently when area managers from parcel delivery company DHL spent two days redecorating the Wraparound and Playgroup Room for a community project.
The seven managers painted all the walls and the ceiling in lemon, pink and blue to brighten and freshen the room. They had also spoken to some of their clients (Argos, Comet, The Early Learning Centre and Ikea Shop Online) to ask them to donate toys, furniture and electrical goods for the new room and deliveries arrived throughout the two days. DHL arranged payment for roller blinds from a local firm, too.
The staff and children in Raven Club are absolutely delighted with the changes: it is certainly a more welcoming and comfortable place!
